Welcome to the #TRASHOFF Challenge!

We’ve teamed up with Trash Free Trails to support their new Autumn Litter Watch Live project. This Halloween, we’re fighting back against the horrors of plastic pollution – and we want you to join in.

Trash Free Trails is an environmental non-profit organisation, with a mission to reduce litter on our trails and wild places by 75% by 2025 and re-connect people to nature by empowering community led trail stewardship. We’re launching the #TRASHOFF Challenge to help protect our local trails and countryside. So when you’re shredding this spooky season here’s what you need to do to get involved.

  1. Find a Trash Hotspot
And post a photo on your Instagram saying you’re going to clean it
  2. Tag up to 5 friends at the same time
The more shredders helping, the cleaner our trails are
  3. Clean the Trash Hotspot
Just make sure to stay safe, there’s more on that below
  4. Then post a before and after photo with #TRASHOFF
Don’t forget the hashtag, we want to see all the amazing work going on
  5. Submit your data here so we can see where’s been cleaned up
Trash Free Trails are building a report and your data is super useful

How to stay safe

  1. Have no more than six people cleaning up at one time.
  2. Make sure you’ve got a Face Mask
  3. Make sure you have gloves for scuff and germ protection.
  4. Don't forget your Antibac Hand Gel or Hand Sanitiser

Need any of that? Head right this way...
