RIZLA-SUZUKI WELCOME NEW TEAM RIDER

[POSTED 25.06.05]

After an amicable split with former team member Scott Smart, Rizla-Suzuki have recently signed James Haydon to take his place on the grid. The 30 year old Andorran joins current British Superbikes champion John Reynolds as part of the Muc-Off sponsored team and is obviously excited by the opportunity that lays ahead of him. "I am honoured to have been asked to join Rizla Suzuki and want nothing more than to repay that faith in me with race wins" enthused James after agreeing terms with the team.

He already recorded the team's best result of the season when he substituted for the injured JR at Oulton Park back in May and he goes into this weekend's race at Knockhill positioned 8th on the grid. It's too late in the day for James to challenge the 2005 title but he's hungry for wins and with a rivitalised John Reynolds back on the track, Rizla Suzuki are sure to provide some top quality racing for the remainder of the season.
