Motorcycle and Scooter Show, 27th October - 5th November 2006

With 144,870 people passing through the doors at the International Motorcycle and Scooter Show, visitors thoroughly enjoyed the event and previewed the highlights for 2007.

Visitors had a lot to interact with including the new Thunderdrome Games Arena, a live motorcycle stunt show, and a chance to try the bikes out for size.

There were models never before been seen in the UK included the Suzuki B-King, Yamaha YZF-R1, Triumph Tiger 1050 and the Honda CBR600RR, two world launches from UK manufacturer CCM, new models from Harley Davidson and Kawasaki, and the first ever bike launch by a Chinese manufacturer at the Show by Wuyang.

With world famous riders Troy Corser and James Toseland, MotoGP star Colin Edwards, British racing legend Carl Fogarty, and Bennetts British Superbike Championship winner and runner-up Ryuichi Kiyonari and Leon Haslam, the show truly was one to remember.

The show also hosted The Bennetts British Superbike Awards with thousands of fans, watching on a huge TV screen, the final round of the MotoGP Championship.

The 2007 Motorcycle and Scooter Show will take place at the NEC from 25th October to 4th November.
