Bayliss and Haga take Brands wins.

Australia's Troy Bayliss (Ducati Xerox), scored first in the race one win at the Brands Hatch Superbike World Championship 4-6th August.

In the first race, Bayliss and Haga were battling for first place, until the Japanese rider was forced back by Bayliss' pace. UK's Toseland improved from fifth place on lap one to score overall second place after the 25 laps. He was 1.6 seconds behind Bayliss and less than a second ahead of Haga. The leading group was a spread down to fourth, with Andrew Pitt (Yamaha Motor Italia) taking the first off podium position.

In the second race, showed an intense contest between Haga and Bayliss, like the first race and was fought out right to the last corner, with Haga taking his first win of the season. A glory day for his team was completed by Andrew Pitt, who went third, ahead of the superb charge from Regis Laconi.
