Billy will ride at the British Moto X GP

Dixon Yamaha's Billy Mackenzie has been given the all clear to ride at this weekend's moto x GP at Matterley Basin. He's been suffering from a broken metacarpal that will take around four weeks to heal. To try to overcome the problem he's been given a special splint to support his hand and he'll be having painkilling injections before the race to allow him to take part. We're hoping that this weekend at Winchester will be better than last week's races in Italy where Billy's first race was ended by a collision with rider Luigi Seguy. He managed to bag 13th place in the second race, leaving him in sixth place in the championship's standings. We wish him the best of luck for the weekend!
