Belle had their biggest win of the season against a depleted Eastbourne Eagles. Adam had a slow start with a last place in heat 3 after a bad gate but battled all the way and nearly caught Risager on the line.
Adam then rattled up three 5:1's two of those with Joe Screen and the other one in heat 14 with Antonio Lindback, Adam finished the night on 6+3 (Adam has now scored over 50 bonus points this season for the Aces). Top scorers for the Aceswere Simon Stead, Joe Screen and Kevin Doolan all scoring 11 points with support from Grand Prix rider and Belle Vue reserve Antonio Lindback with 9 points and the three remaining
For the Eagles, it was dissapointing that World Champion elect Nicki Pedersen didn't ride due to dislocating his shoulder and damaging his collarbone in the Grand Prix on Saturday, he was replaced by Adam Shields who had a dissapointing night scoring only ONE point, top scorer for the Eagles was Davey Watt and Morten Risager both scoring 9 points. Eastbourne will be re-strengthening this week with the signing of Russian International Roman Povazhny who's first meeting will be on Friday.
