Mel wins BYMX Carlos 2nd in MX3 SPAIN

With a weekend off from GPs both Mel and Carlos decided to ride their practice bikes and have their Dads mechanic for them in a stress free weekend.Mel raced the BYMX AT Brampton as his brother was racing there, this was the series that we took Mel on to do since he is only 15 so it was nice to see how he did. Mell set pole and went 1-1-2 fo the the overall victory and also set the fastest lap in each race. Carlos qualified 2nd in Murcia Spain for the MX3 World championship, Carlos entered as a wild card and came second in qualification by under a second and came second in the first race as MX1 top rider Jonathon Barragon just took Carlos on the last lap and won by a second.In the second heat Carlos again came second this time by 6 seconds.For Carlos this is the first time to step on the podium of a World championship event.Hopefully both riders perform well at Mallory next week.
